     Loosened musings have suddenly filled the atmosphere through a subtle whisper. Was it a reflection made by her own ? Some melodious composition she’s previously heard ? It was--- hard to figure out.

  Head turned at the listener, & then she offered a humble smile.

——❝It’s what I believe.❞

“You can say that again. Uh... well... you don’t have to. Human figure of speech.” She gestures her hand with her arms crossed as she’s seated, looking down at her own lap. “I got here... uh, where I am career-wise... with my own will, with limited help. My upbringing taught me to stick to things, even if I’m in pain, even if I don’t want to do it... most other people in this country don’t have that kind of privilege.”

She leans back where she’s sitting. “City life’s hard. It’s mentally and emotionally taxing on people... even if some don’t want to admit it. That’s why I don’t live in the urbanized areas... it’s too much.”

“O-oh, no… I don’t mind company!”

Johnnie replies with a rogue sniffle, trying to quickly compose himself after being approached. Aw, rats! He didn’t like crying in front of others, no matter how well he knew them. It always felt awkward to him, at least. “I actually kinda prefer being with someone, anyways,” he murmurs, patting the seat beside him. “Really distracts me, which is what I need right now. I won’t get into the nitty gritty of everything, but I really appreciate you being here right now.”

🪞 How does your OC perceive themself? Do they believe themself to be attractive, unattractive, or average? Does their view of themself affect their self-esteem, or are they unbothered by their physical appearance? (If your OC does have things they’re confident or insecure about, what are they?)

((Nara doesn't really care about her appearance? She perceives herself as Nara; nothing more, nothing less, because she's never had anyone else to compare herself to. She likes to decorate herself and does like and admire things about her appearance, like that her hair is a cool shade of lavender and she can cross her eyes twice.

If anything, she may be a little self conscious because she's not a robot and she considers robots and machines to be beautiful.))

Granted, she wasn’t a scientist, but the traveler was willing to help out in any way she could.

☄️ At first Finn had wondered if she was asking that he might be some sort of alien in disguise. She seemed to be implying that's what she was anyway, which wouldn't surprise him, given her unique appearance.

As she explained her thoughts further, it finally clicked with him. But how did she know? Did she have special space-senses?

"Oh. Ummm. I was a comet back in a previous life? Or like, originally, I guess... but that was a long time ago." Though a thousand years or so probably didn't seem quite so long at all to someone who was millions of years old.

He had many questions himself now, but didn't know where to start, so he simply stared blankly at her, as though waiting for some sort of explanation. Maybe she had mind-reading powers as well. 🌼
