agitation was burning rubber beneath her heels as they pierced the flooring of meredith’s workplace. how one place could be so sterile and yet grotesque at once was BEYOND her. pyper wasn’t phased by the definition of mortality. some twisted part of it all made the woman’s shoulders push back a little more straight. in all of her firmness, she felt cocky in a place that took care of the dead, and their loved ones. afterall, her lungs were blooming, blood was running through her veins, and she hadn’t lost anyone near and dear. “ woman of the hour. “ was how she made her presence known. red polished fingers pushed open the door with enough force to blow air through her long fiery locks. “ or - at least you COULD have been the woman of the hour if you’d bother showing up to our lunch plans a...” green eyes looked down to the expensive watch wrapped around her wrist. “ hour ago.” laughter slipped. it was FUNNY that she had waited such a long time. pyper didn’t wait for anyone. “ i thought i’d confront you. sooooo,” she slipped her heel into space at the bottom bar of a chair and scooted it up for her to sit in. “ why did you no-call, no-show on me, mere ? ”
