Three fan fic books by the inimitable BD Strike, AKA @the-pen-pot  and BeautifulFiction on Ao3 are now taking pride of place on my shelf, thanks to the generosity of someone who certainly knows their way into my heart . What is the wonder of these three novels is that I honestly cannot decide which one I like the most because I have read all of them between four and ten times each. The sender is helping to save my eye-sight, as I find reading the book versions easier than the screen.

They just get BETTER every time I do re-read. Maybe if I wish hard and long enough, the author will return to the fandom with another long story. I remain ever so grateful for her series of shorts called  The Baker Street Chronicles by BeautifulFiction. Read them here.

The rest of the books have arrived yesterday

Heart’s Desire, Written in Ashes and The Vapor Variant by 88thParallel plus A Hundred Crimson Sols by elldotsee.

Along with the Proving a Point I’ve got on Monday 25th July I can safely say that my collection of fanfictions in book form grows fast.

I only wish I could get my hands on the Gilded Cage which is not available for purchase anymore. Maybe someday BD Strike will try to publish that and other stories via different website.
