Broken Dreams And Silent Screams | Self Para
Her coat was hardly keeping the cool air off her skin, sending a chill do to her bones as she pushed through the crowded streets of New Orleans. She had been spending any extra time she could trying to figure out who had taken Delilah, who was killing all those people. It was a bit reckless considering she didn't even ask Jamie to help her, not wanting to involve even more people in this whole fiasco that was building up. Then there was that feeling building up in her stomach, that idea that something worse was coming their way. Witches dealing with dark magic were never a good thing in her experience, especially when it needed sacrifices. Whatever this witch was up to seriously needed to be stopped.
Piper faltered in her step as she felt a surge of power go through her, a very powerful witch was nearby and calling out to her. She swallowed slightly, immediately thinking the worse since her recent experiences with rogue vampires. Her pace picked up, following the strength of the magic leading her down an alleyway. She stopped, panicking slightly as she saw nothing but the empty back road. Feeling a presence behind her, she didn't even have time to turn around as a hand covered her mouth and her vision went dark.
When she awoke it was cold, damp and dark with a sharp smell of something she couldn't quite pinpoint. Piper narrowed her eyes in an attempt to see the place around her better. She was in a cage, causing herself to immediately stand up only to notice the slight rattle as she did. Looking down at her feet she found herself chained to the floor. You have got to be kidding me. She focused on the hinge, using her magic to open it but nothing happened. Nothing, not even an ounce of magic.
"That won't work here," a voice spoke breaking the eerie silence and causing Piper to look up quickly but only seeing the darkness. "The cage keeps you from doing magic, I made sure of that."
"What do you want from me?" Piper spoke firmly, her anger getting the better of her.
"Nothing much, I simply needed you out of the way."
"I promise you, I will get out of this cage and I will kill you!" She hissed at him only to be crippled by a mind splitting headache. She screamed out, tears gliding down her cheeks.
"No you won't, because in there you are powerless and by the time anyone even realises you are gone, it will be to late."
