Also I don't think I really have any good birthday party stories mine were all average lol I have vague memories of when mcdonalds did birthday parties and this particular one actually had this aeroplane out the front of it (I have absolutely no idea why but it did). And they'd make you all go up into the plane and say you were flying to the destination of the party. The only other memory I have of that day is running out of the party room crying because I was scared of one of the grownups who-

-was dressed up as dracula (I guess the party was horror themed). I also have vague memories of running out into the mcdonalds kitchens while crying but that's it.

So favorite party you say, probably the one at a convention I attended. It was in a tiny piano bar and we thought it would be just us cosplayers, but then the guests showed up as well. We had a blast dancing with them and it is one of my fondest memories when I think about parties. It was so much fun seeing all these people dancing to ridiculous songs like "Everytime we touch" or "I like to move it"

So on the subject of parties, I didn't get invited to many parties as a high schooler so I can only refer back to elementary school birthday parties which I honestly don't remember a lot them but the few I do remember: One party was held at Burger King in their party room area and while climbing on this slide I got my hand stepped on.

{from your reply}  Sent an ask but was running out of room so here’s another moment: A birthday party at a girl’s house and they had a pool except I was terrified so I basically clung to the edge of the pool the entire time within reaching distance of the ladder.

OH My Goodness! It’s like we’ve lived the same lives, kinda. LOL.  I do, very much, know the clinging to the wall in the pool experience.

Okay so, my favorite party was my 16th birthday party. I was working at a roller skating rink at the time so I got to rent the whole place out for free. I invited everyone I could think of. It was so much fun meshing my school friends with my skating friends. I had a blast that day. Roller skating used to be my life. 💙💙
