Hoax bomb call triggers searches at Coimbatore Junction Railway Station | Coimbatore News - Net4News
COIMBATORE: Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) and sniffer dogs conducted searches at Coimbatore Junction Railway Station and railway parcel booking office on Friday morning after a man made a call to the city police stating that two persons were planning to plant bombs there. After searches, the police declared it a hoax call. However, the Railway Protection Force personnel continued checking the luggage of passengers. The call was made by Senthilkumar of K Vadamadurai near Thudiyalur in Coimbatore district around 7am.
