I can’t believe it took me this long to put my Disney oc in twst.
Anyways, for anyone new here, this is Illysabeth. She's a Treasure Planet oc! I kind of went crazy w like two tiny pieces of lore and the scrapped sequel and ended up with a sapphic fish princess.
Anyways she goes directly to Diasomnia bc I said so ♡ I think her family gives her a REALLY hard time abt it bc like, she's on the same level of renown and status as Malleus they're both heirs to a throne of a kingdom. I think they get along. Fine. They're very terse with each other. They know each other by name and title and that's it. Like. They avoid each other. Not bc of dislike or anything, I just think Lys' family expects her to try and make friends with him and try and build a rapport so they'll be better political allies later in life. I think it's a VERY fun idea to try and get the fish and the fae to team up.
Anyways, all that to say even with Lyssa being a princess and her family kind if expecting her to at least TRY and take the housewarden position for her Reputation reasons. But I really don't see that happening. I guess it depends what year she's in too. But I like the idea that it all happened at once just to make Crowley panic like "okay. Alright. We have the princess from the coral sea and the future king of Briar Valley coming this year. Okay this will be so cool for us as long as nothing goes wrong!!!!" Either way, Lys is a LOT happier just being as close to a normal student as she can get. She's living out her teenage school life fantasy!!!! She's making friends and falling in love and yes the looming destiny of the country She's going to run one day is hanging over her head, but hey, the monarch is mostly a figurehead nowadays right???? Anyways I think her dad gets assassinated in her third year so she has to leave and doesn't get to finish school which sucks but I can't let her be TOO happy lmao.
