My penultimate post for the day is BDNYC co-founder & newly-tenured @huntercollege professor Dr. Kelle Cruz! She’s been featured here at least twice before, and her new company ScienceBetter Consulting was instrumental in launching the STARtorialist booth at AAS229 earlier this year. In the top photo she’s wearing a necklace & earrings c/o @lostinspacejewelry & bracelet c/o @yugentribe, and as you can tell from the bottom photos, she’s lots of fun even when she’s not making AstroBetter. She was recently recognized for her service by the American Astronomical Society and elected to the AAS Council by her colleagues, and I can tell you from experience she is a peerless peer & student mentor as well as a fierce friend.
