Hi there! Can you please make a quick sketch or a small comic of Shadow giving birth to his kids at home?
I have this weird headcanon that Shadow birthed his son in bed, but he didn't feel comfortable. So, on his second birth, he welcomed his daughter into the world on a bathtub, since according to few medics, giving birth on water is more relaxing and comfortable to the mother. Also, I love your Sonadow mpreg, it's so beautiful and cute❤️😭😭😭✨️

I’ve gotten a couple asks before about Shadow actually giving birth and I do have some sketches I haven’t shared bc I’m embarrassed so if I do post about it……No one’s gonna make fun of me for posting my drawings of Shadow going into labor and giving birth right…….
There’s a backlog of sketches but I’ve only posted the ones of the afterbirth for Spectral bc I fear humiliation online.
Also it’s kinda funny that I’ve basically drawn out the scenario you’re talking about anon. Like Shadow gives birth at home bc he’s extremely uncomfortable in hospitals/any lab or medical setting due to Maria-ARK-trauma related reasons. Spectral’s birth is fine, but during Static’s pregnancy, as shown in some of my past doodles and sketches, Shadow has like…. “static flashes”??? Idk what to call them lmao but he during these flashes he suddenly gets a lot of buildup of static electricity and it turns his fur all spiky and poofy. These flashes start to increase in frequency as his due date nears, so they decide to just do a water birth mainly because long science monologue about how static electricity is a fight to the death between negative and positive charges but water molecules have this nice polarity cheat that can attract and move along all those extra unnecessary charges that were causing that imbalance water neutralizes static electricity so that way it’ll make the actual birth process a little less inconvenient. Hm I wonder what Sonic and Shadow will name this child.
Also also I feel like I should clarify it’s obviously not anything explicit??? I’m talking about like PG-sitcom type of scenes in media. I’m thinking of the episode in Friends where Rachel goes into labor and shenanigans ensue etc etc. Or actually I love the Brooklyn 99 episode where Amy goes into labor at the precinct and she’s weirdly super calm about it to a comedic degree like when she goes “I’ve been handling my contractions well” and then it cuts to her giving a briefing and while she’s talking she obviously gets a contraction but she thinks she’s being subtle and tries to finish her sentence and then fucking breaks her clipboard in half. Tbh I think that’s more in character for what Shadow would do lol. Like he refuses to actually go on maternity leave (paternity?? idk is it still maternity if you’re a guy? idk but whatever leave you go on if you are literally growing a kid inside your body) until he’s like a week away from his due date, but all the sudden he goes into labor a lot earlier than expected while at work. Shenanigans ensue.
