HEAR ME OUT
Okay so like, me and my friend watched IT chapter 2 during art class and it got to the part with Mrs. Kersh and Beverly Marsh. Something that I can't stop thinking about is what Mrs. Kersh said. "You know what they say about Derry. No one who dies here ever really dies." And I have no idea if I'm thinking wrong, but what I got from what she said, is that anyone who dies in Derry isn't truly dead (unless I'm stupid and reading into this VERY fucking wrong). So like, what if Eddie isn't truly dead, like he's just there??? Idfk. Basically, what I'm saying, is I'm gonna write a fix-it-fic with Eddie coming back to life (very original, ik) since what Mrs. Kersh said is installed in my mind. Erm uhhh and my friend lowkey inspired me to write a fic too so yeah. (Apologies if none of this makes super sense but hey, idc, I'm not great at getting the meanings of things so sorry If I deprived the true meaning of what Mrs. Kersh said to Beverly)
And if I said that Zach had traits of autism, then what. (Idk I feel weird diagnosing him y’know, like I ain’t a doctor it’s not up to me decide that)
Small Million - Be Wrong
people on twitter don't like matt's vests?? i think they're charming :(
getting the primal urge to wan tto see himeru break down in a card. he deserves it. he needs catharsis
yeeeeeeeee he should be in deep emotional distress as a treat, cry a little, finally have his mask shatter in a way they can not hide, and maybe through those cracks realize some things
ok, no. now my brain refuses to drop the PN2 age thing, so here we go i guess:
beginning of PN2. we enter the building, and the first thing hollis says to us is in regards of asking who we are. raz was the last person entering the building, so the others are already gone off to their locations and thus raz and hollis are alone when she asks. benefit of the doubt for whoever attempted to contact headquarters for assistance during PNRoR, so lets say the info about raz was also passed along. (fairly certain we dont hear any dialogue of the contact attempt, but also my memory is terrible so its really a toss up tbh)
wait. hang on. i very vaguely remember reading a text post saying we contacted the motherlobe, and talked with someone? and it was nick/gristol? who subsequently just. didnt pass the message along. (do not quote me on this, i also havent slept in two days, i could absolutely have simply Dreamt the “post”)
either way, no one at headquarters knew about raz At All. hollis only chucked him in the interns program as an afterthought/stopgap placement to keep an eye on him, since he did show up alongside the (successful!) rescue party. probably.
lili stayed with her father, sasha immediately took laboto to his lab, milla (i believe) either went with sasha or went to go meditate on finding labotos employer, and oleander… well i dont know what he did but it definitely wasn’t anything to do with the interns.
and thus we meet the interns. who, at this point, are probably drawing conclusions about him from the program rules. they are absolutely going by the minimum age requirements at least, since that is something definitely found in program qualifications. (there are intern program rules. probably. most likely.) and what reason would they have to question/doubt the rules?
so they treat him like a teen (like them) who suddenly just appeared out of nowhere. because for all they know, him being there is threatening to kick one of them out. (i am absolutely positive there is a limit to intern numbers. there is an interns dorm. its psychics, not magicians, it cant be bigger on the inside. so. defined dorm area = limited dorm space = limited program spots)
thus the hazing and general shitty treatment towards raz. hollis doesnt tell them anything about raz during class (…does she know hes 10? during lucktopus, post-boss fight, doesnt she say something about doing something similar when i was your age? she has to be looping him in with the other interns age wise. which is. A Thought)
it gets a little better post-lucktopus (well. minus norma) and now its become a treatment more akin to simply a cohabitant. sharing the space, but not friends. at the absolute minimum, they are no longer hostile towards him.
cause they absolutely crossed a line with the clothes thing. he is a child??? and this is a job building. where people work. who are adults. you made a kid run around in his underwear????? adults! adults literally everywhere!!!
and im grouping the game from post-lucktopus up to the maligula battle as one thing, because there is no change in treatment during that time period. and i know norma still has her “definitely the mole” thing going on, but she doesnt change from it during that time, so she is also stagnant.
which means that by maligula, they still dont know his age. they start to arrive after raz tries to talk maligula down so they dont hear the grand-nephew thing. and none of the interns mention anything regarding it themselves. the only thing norma apologizes for is about the mole thing. (id like to believe she would feel bad + apologize for bullying a child. i like her too much to have her be unredeemable)
and that brings us to junior agents + post-game. where there is still no acknowledgement of age. there is the final attitude change, from indifference to positive, but nothing else.
which brings me to one of two conclusions:
a) they literally never found out about his age the entire game, or
b) they learned his age, and didnt care
