i know you posted about this a while back but i think for those reasons you mentioned in your post about takehina is the reason why i really just don’t like her at all and can’t understand why anyone would defend her 💀 no personality or anything, just exists to be the main character’s girl. senju is a much better person imo because she has an actual story + is prettier, etc.

people will “defend” male characters for a lot less and a lot worse 💀 i will slide for hina until the day i fucking die

i think one of tokyo revengers strengths is that ken wakui’s character designs are very unique and well done. Each character is drawn with so much personality that is reflective of who they are. So you can imagine how irritating is for me to see ppl shit on takemichi’s funky little hairstyle in favour of the generic “down” style when he is a lame and funky dude through and through 😐

one criticism i actually agree with regarding Takemichi is that he gained Mikey’s, and by extension, toman’s trust and friendship TOO easily. he has pretty much 0 redeeming qualities at the start of the story so to me it makes no sense when anyone would fw him right off the bat 💀
