hi bea can i ask you a question? how did you make your cyberpunk au, i know you spent a lot of work on it so i won't trouble you asking how you did it in detail but how did you manage to blend the cyber punk things to the original image. it's done seamlessly. i love your work so much. i really hope this isn't annoying you by sending this ask.

i’m SO sorry this is so delayed! but I figured I’d answer now since I don’t want you to think I’m ignoring you ;;

My plan is to edit the next edition of my cyberpunk au! (97 line), I’ll film my process for the background part to help you since it’s hard to say what I do in steps!

But if you want a quick answer and are experienced with Photoshop, I take images from unsplash (they are free to repurpose!) and I put the .png of the member in front of it. The biggest thing is to COLOR MATCH! Usually the photos I choose are vibrant and have high contrast so I match that with the member, then I add layers over the member to fit them in the scenery (e.g. adding red rimlight if they are near a red source of light).

Another trick I do is I use lens blur on the background with some grain, this puts a ‘soft focus’ to the member and not the background (which can get busy at times LOL)
