Beach Bonding || Nikki & Dawn

When Nikki first found out she was sharing a cabin with Dawn, she wasn't too pleased as the girls wasn't on the best of terms at the moment, but they had decided to try and get along -- hopefully work things out. To ruin what could be a beautiful friendship because of a boy was extremely stupid so when the two had decided to go for a swim Nikki was excited! The brunette had taken a quick shower to freshen up and was putting the finishing touches to her hair. "You know Dawn," The girl called from behind the bathroom door. "I have a good feeling about this week. Who knows, maybe we'll leave this place as bff's." Nikki emerged in the door opening, bikini on and towel in hand. "You ready?"

So I had an amazing day reuniting with all my drum major friends at our beach bonding today, but apparently drumline was having one at the same beach as well. I obviously didn't expect myself to be invited, but when I found out that it was last year and this year drumline, I was pretty pissed. I didn't let that ruin my day though, in fact knowing that made my day even better. As I walked past the pit the drumline ppl were at, I looked at every single one of them that was looking my way, and laughed, talking to my drum major friends. When I noticed that most of them were just chilling there not doing much, I remembered all the times I chose something else over drumline and didn't have a single regret. Now I know for sure that quitting drumline was the right thing to do, and I can live without any what ifs.
