Objectively speaking, that comment/review/whatever reeks with envy and insecurity. Sounds like it came deep from someone's personal grudge. Personally, I won't take any kind of negative criticism seriously if the critic didn't have the balls to come off of anon. And besides, even harsh criticism can be delivered kindly. That's just plain hate mail. You can write the best thing ever, and it won't stop haters from saying your stuff is shit. Haters always gonna haaaaaaate

I didn’t really stop to think it may be someone who has something against me. That fucking sucks even more, and honestly I hope they either get some friends or help, because wow-- they shouldn’t be giving so much importance to me and my work if they don’t like it this much.

Your writing no matter what is yours to experiment with and take ownership of. The fault is not of the text you created, because experiments are inherently good. Rather the fault is of the reader who can't appreciate a text that is different to conformist texts. The faults found in your form are faults you decide are there, and thus change stylistically. So some people don't like it? In the end you are the creator of your narrative and how you create is limitless and always a fruitful learning Experience that you decide what to take from it. Its not a mistake. Its not bad. Its different and it's something you tried. If you like it, do it again. You are the author, and the reader chooses to see what they want. Its okay if they don't choose your image. What matters is you and what matters is you keep writing and developing the image

I know I should ignore the person, but it’s just hard sometimes. Especially because I put a lot of effort into that story in particular. I wrote it for an entire year. And I can take people not liking it as I thought they would, but people attacking me for it, it’s just overwhelming in such a bad way.

I didn’t expect actual hate for a fanfiction, it’s honestly something I didn’t ask for.
