One of our favorite parts of spending time outside on beaches is watching the birds. Either flying, resting, or catching food, they are always fascinating to watch. This bird was by itself & caught our attention by how hard it tried to get food, but not get wet. It kept running to the beach, way from the water, as the tide came in & scampered back close to the waters edge as it receded.
