PLEASE READ!!!! Okay time for some serious talk! See that? Thats a Homestuck Group on Facebook. You see that picture of Aradia in the red box? Thats a Photo I did. I did not give the permission to upload it to Facebook!!!! I didn't even know it was uploaded on Facebook!
So here is the thing: It would NOT bother me that the picture was posted there IF they would have sourced me and the Cosplayer. But they didn't. They sourced the Cosplayer only after a friend recognized her. This photo was only posted on TWO pages: My blog right here and my deviantArt page. It would not have been a big deal to just link one of those. I am not difficult to find! And I source all the Cosplayers I photographed! It would not have been a big deal to copy the description! I am not a tumblr famous person and I am trying to establish my Photography Studio so that I can make a living from my work. So it would be really nice if I get credited for my work. Cause it is WORK! I make those photos, the light, the pose, the perspective and the EDITING! I am sitting some time on the editing!
I am a really nice person and if you want to upload my pictures anywhere to show the world you can just ask me and I will allow it. But don't just go ahead and post it anywhere without me knowing about it and crediting me. THAT'S NOT OKAY! If you post it and source me thats totally okay! More than okay thats perfectly fine and good cause you are promoting me with that but only if you credit me! Luckily I messaged the owner of the group and he apologized and is willing to credit me. I just hope that doesn't happen again. Because of things like that I will have to watermark the pictures which sometimes will kind of ruin the picture...
