Do any of your characters have significant reasons behind their names?

Some do!

Del's full name is 'Delphina Mae Hollis', Mae being a name of her late aunt (Paloma-Mae Hollis), who died when her dad was 14 due to lifelong medical complications. (DON'T mention dolphins, you know who you are. /silly)

And then pretty much every single one of my District 4 guys have somewhat of an ocean themed name. Delphina like dolphin, Mako like the shark species, Serena like siren, Cordelia like from the Sims, Caspian like the sea, Caulder meaning rocky river, Cove like the geographic feature, etc etc.

Worst thing that happens to any of your OCs

Maggie watches one of her close friends (Dolly) and her horse die and then makes her first human kill on her 17th birthday and then gets bitten, watches another close friend die, mistakenly thinks her father is dead, and then dies herself the literal day after.

Which of your ocs has the best singing voice

Stella Sterling, definitely! But Serena is a close second.

Was the plan always to kill Delphina off, or did you ever change your mind?

Del was always going to lose the Games, although there were some points where I was tempted to switch that.

Don't worry about being annoying!!! I genuinely love talking about my OCs and I'll take any opportunity to do so.

Also, I genuinely thought for the longest time that we were mutuals, but I just realized that I wasn't following you back, so I am so sorry about that 😭.

I'm very much in love w/ Maggie, and am currently trying to find any and all information on her- but I'm curious (not sure if this is something you've already stated); if you could compare her/her personality to any sort of animal, what would it be?

(I love love love the theme btw, the orange and blue is so pretty together<33)

She does have an animal motif! She is a dog/beagle. Dogs are known as 'man's best friend', they're some of the kindest, most loyal, and extroverted animals out there. But that kindness and loyalty comes with the caveat that if their person is in danger, they'd lay their life down without hesitation.

The reason that it's a beagle specifically is because they're known as one of the most friendly, trusting, forgiving, and sociable breeds.

Maggie is very extroverted, friendly, and forgiving for most of her life, up until the last few days. She is also incredibly loyal, and ultimately dies in an act of self-sacrifice (yes, she was infected, so she was going to meet a worst fate had she survived. But she definitely would have still done so had she not been bit.)
