A well-meaning girl from District 10, Marlowe Diggs was voted to be a tribute in the First Quarter Quell after a deadly mistake led to widespread hatred.

General

Full Name: Marlowe Inez Diggs

District: 10

Birthday: November 15th, 7ADD

Job: Cow farmer

Home Life

Marlowe lived with her mother (Anessa), her father (Ivan), and her older sister (Francine). Her sister was older than her by nine years, and had already moved out when she was a teenager.

Reaping

Marlowe was elected as the District 10 female tribute because she had a big problem with kleptomania and getting attached to the cows on her farm. Two weeks before the Reaping, she got so desperate to save her favorite cow that she accidentally let every cow in the slaughterhouse free. As a result of her actions, two people were trampled—and they lost over half of the cattle and a handful of other farm animals.

She was imprisoned for her actions, and it was decided that Marlowe would be hanged for her actions. But, the Reaping happened so soon after, so she was voted to enter into the Games by the angry District 10 population before her execution.

Worst thing that happens to any of your OCs

Maggie watches one of her close friends (Dolly) and her horse die and then makes her first human kill on her 17th birthday and then gets bitten, watches another close friend die, mistakenly thinks her father is dead, and then dies herself the literal day after.

Stella Sterling, definitely! But Serena is a close second.

Job: Seamstress-in-training

Home Life

Stella Sterling is Covey, she lives with her adoptive parents (Jane Violet and Merle), older sister (Isabel Ivy), maternal aunt (Bonny Ruby), maternal uncle (Arthur Tawny), uncle (Wes), and one-year-old cousin (Willie Merlot).

Being Covey, she's incredibly close with her family, but ostracized from the rest of her District. Her family is training her to work as a seamstress, as music was outlawed years prior, and they had to find other work.

Reaping

Stella Sterling was chosen as the District 11 female tribute for the first Quarter Quell after she was caught with the mayor's daughter. She and Mesa Franco had been secretly dating since they were seventeen, but since Stella Sterling was Covey—and a girl, their relationship was unacceptable. In order to protect herself, Mesa told everyone that Stella Sterling was the instigator, and she was entirely innocent in their relationship.
