Hi first of all I wanted to say that I love your work. I was wondering if you could write a fic where y/n is dean's daughter and she also has a brother and during a hunt where everyone is at Ellen's bar (bobby , Elle, cas , dean ,Sam and anyone else you want) as well as other hunters and the two come in and someone calls them Winchesters and that's when Dean finds out they're his children and it could be family fluff and all thank you <33
Dean x Reader
Summary: Season 2. Reader works at her family’s motel with dreams of getting out and starting a new life. A stranger checks in during the seasonal lull that may just lead her down a new path.
Thanks to @rizlow1, @deansdirtylittlesecretsblog, and @spnjensenlove02 for helping answer some of my questions to help me get started with this!
It took every ounce of strength for you to walk back up to the counter without turning around or marching out the door. Another night stuck at a shitty job with a shit-hole boss while nothing was going on. Your phone beeped twice as you friends tried to persuade you to join them one town over at the ice skating rink.
“Not me you have to convince, you guys…” With a sigh, you flipped your phone over so you didn’t have to feel more disappointed.
A low grumble made you turn your head, but there were no lights out in the parking lot or going across the highway. Late February was always the worst, customers having already checked out from their Valentine’s shenanigans and not needing another place to stay until graduation season. Your step-father’s stubbornness at not closing or letting you leave early aggravated you all over again. His motel made plenty of money to justify letting you spend time with your friends.
“Don’t be mad,” You mom muttered as she walked up with a stack of papers.
“He’s sitting in the back watching TV. He sent Jason home an hour early. Why do I have to stay here?”
“You know he still wants you to take over…”
“I don’t want that! I want to go to art school, move to Paris, meet more exotic people! Living on the outskirts of Texas isn’t going to give me any of those options.”
“Just stay for another hour. We’ll talk about this over the weekend.”
You couldn’t control the frustrated sigh that escaped your lips as your mom disappeared into the back office. Reaching under the counter, you slid the radio knob up just enough to overtake the calming presence of the room; you knew your parents would be furious, but you didn’t care. You considered sending a text to have someone come get you and sneak away from your shift. No one was going to be coming in.
“Hello?”
Your shriek barely covered up the soft thud as you and the stool crashed to the floor. You wanted to crawl under the counter as your face burned with embarrassment, but you could feel the man watching you.
“You okay?”
“Fine!” Pushing off your knees, you came within inches of blonde hair and bright green eyes. “How can I help you?”
“Uhh…a room….you’re sure you aren’t hurt?” He shifted back on his heel as you picked up the stool. “That was quite a tumble.”
“Happens all the time!” You felt dumb acting this chipper, but it was taking everything not to run and leave him standing here. “Just a single for you?”
“Doub…no, yeah, single.”
As you waited for the ancient computer to load the new page, you snuck a couple looks at the stranger. He seemed wrecked, like he was lost or his dog had just died. An older flip phone was grasped in his hand, which he constantly shot glances at. He was young, at least compared to the usual after-holiday crowd of tourists. One thing for sure, though, was he was incredibly good looking.
“Sorry, this thing takes forever. What are you in town for?”
“Uhhm, job.” He drummed his knuckles on the counter, clearly anxious at having to wait. “Meeting someone.”
You wanted to question this, but the page had finally come up and you figured he wasn’t in the right mindset to answer pointless inquiries.
“Name for the room?”
“Jim Rockford.”
“Your parents must be big fans,” You snickered as you started to type. Only an hour ago you had seen one of the episodes running mutely while you argued with your step-father.
“What?” His head whipped around to watch you.
“Jim Rockford; you know, from the TV show. It can’t be a coincidence that you have the exact same name.”
“It is,” He mumbled, his foot now starting to tap against the old linoleum floor.
Deciding it was best to stop commenting on everything, you stayed silent until asking for his currency. He slapped a couple bills on the counter and mumbled something about keeping the change before bolting out the door with the key in his hand.
“Thanks for choosing the Akakios Motel…” Your words lost their flare as the door slipped closed and he disappeared around the corner, “Weird.”
You shook your head as you counted the change. He had paid for five nights, but acted like he was only staying for one. Knowing better than to try and figure out the intentions of a customer, you turned to tell your mom that there was finally something to do around here.
So I got myself writing a little bit a couple weeks ago, and I’m loving the idea, but now I want to go further with it. Since it’s a reader story, I don’t want it to be super long, so I think I’m going to do a mini-series with it!
Thank you again to everyone who helped me the other day with my question.
It should be posted shortly on @twowaywardorphansjournal!
So I think I’m gonna make a separate blog for my writing....
I feel like when I’m on, I post so much that my stories get lost. I’m sure people are also super confused by my screen name, since it has nothing to do with SPN.
