BEAMS PLUS x Sperry Collaboration Shines at Paris Fashion Week Event
Yesterday marked a significant event at Paris Fashion Week as Sperry and Japanese clothing brand BEAMS PLUS came together to celebrate the extension of their successful partnership.
Back in 2023, BEAMS PLUS and Sperry unveiled a special iteration of Sperry’s iconic CVO sneaker, dubbed the MIL CVO. This collaboration pays homage to the original CVO sneaker, crafted by Paul Sperry in 1935, while integrating modern comfort and vintage-inspired branding. With a deep focus on authenticity, Sperry and BEAMS PLUS have revitalized the classic canvas deck shoe, catering to fashion purists who cherish heritage and authenticity in their wardrobe. The MIL CVO is crafted using original 1940s tooling and lasts, ensuring an authentic fit, look, and feel. It features details true to the CVO style used by the US Navy in the 1940s, including Sperry’s signature Wave Siping outsole and thick rubber foxing connecting the upper and outsole.
The collaboration continues with the introduction of the MIL CVO in nylon, available in three new colorways: White, BP Orange, and Navy, retailing at $85 USD. Alongside the sneakers, a limited-edition apparel capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2025 is also being launched. These exciting new offerings will be showcased to retailers at the BEAMS showroom in Paris this week and at the Project Trade Show in New York this July. With its classic cotton canvas upper and signature vulcanized rubber sole, the MIL CVO stands out as a timeless design, making it the perfect summer sneaker.
