It's been a good while since I made these guys and I don't quite remember everything about them and my knowledge of wta is also slowly eroding with time. (I gotta reread the books...) So sorry if my explanations lack details or i say some dumb shit zsbus.

But! As far as I remember, that actually isn't the case! Achilles is a theurge and spirits they have like their - well kinda terms and conditions when you work with them. Back when my boy was still green, he got into dealings with one and then pissed it off spectacularly. And to get back into it's good graces/as compensation/peace offering it took the skin off their hands.

He's still mad about it.

I made the character because i love the idea of going to shake his hand and it just squelches. But also as a warning to be careful when dealing with spirits. Additionally his opinion would clearly be different compared to theurges those of other tribes (That I also wanna show! (they're a lot smaller)) because of this experience.

hmh, good question.

I think buoy (the sea thing) because it's really fun to say like a sound effect. Like the sound of something going 'bui' in water or more like a 'boing'. I know it's prob not the right way to say it but it's the more fun one.

I think in general my fav words are mostly those that are fun to pronouce or references to games. Mortis (faith) or eight (Stanley Parable) are also up there.

I love the name Cassius, so, I have a few character q's for him!

1. Is there a story or reason behind the name?

2. How does he deal with potentially being exposed to religious iconography and art in the company of "other" toreadors?

3. What's the go to move to make himself seem the saddest and wettest?

1) Honestly, I have to admit that I chose the name because I think it was very pretty. However looking up what it means, or rather what it's association with, it's very funny and fitting seeing it be related to the assassination of Ceasar and Usurper. The meaning vain doesn't apply that much to him, although he does count on others peoples vanity to keep him hidden. But hollow? Oh yeah.

I don't think Cass himself knows of the connection though.

2) He'd most likely would either try and fight trough it or hope his image as a pathetic idiot would get him trough and twist it that he's actually super devoted. Generally he avoids them but he's a good liar so he believes in his ability to weasel his way out. (also i do the same sometimes, where i confuse my t clans so mood)

3) Mostly he works with body language and voice. Trying to make himself small, looking shabby with messy clothes and hair, talking in a higher pitch with stutters. Letting himself be exploited and acting like he believes that everyone has his best intentions in mind.

It's very funny when comparing it to the almost leadership role he takes when with the others and how he started all this because he lost hope for humanity, how steady his hand is when he drives the sacrificial dagger into a victim.

Currently in the game Magda is doing... better!

The mage gang (Laine , Magda as well as two older wizards named Shen and Ace) non lethally took down a marauder last session and Magda got reunited with a family member (Tomâs ) that she's been missing since the beginning of the game. While also being able to take her second family member (Nicola) with her.

Both Tomâs and Nicola are still getting better from the effects of the marauder which was slowly turning them into marble, although one of them might not fully recover without extra magical help. Despite that, she's optimistic that things will finally start looking up for both her family and her friends. It all feels a lot more managable now and if everyone was able to solve such a difficult situation with such elegance, then they will be able to solve everything else as well.
