It's a long shift today, and I feel like I should have just ordered 2 burritos so that I could be both full and capitalize on these double points. Instead, I am still hungry, and I think it would have been worth it to just buy another. When I walked into the mall, there was a father and daughter looking for the entrance into the TJ Maxx, and I explained the weird roundabout way to get to it from where they currently were. The man said, "I hear they are trying to close this mall down," and I nodded. It's getting pretty empty in there. It was one of the first times it got real to me. This place might not always be around. If that happens, when that happens, what am I going to do? I rode the escalator up and nervously turned the corner, afraid that maybe I wouldn't find the Qdoba I have been frequenting for so many years. Much to my relief, it was still there, but I don't think i will ever shake the fear that I might have already eaten my last burrito from Ashley, that I might have won my last double wrap lottery, or worse, that my last burrito will be one like the burrito I got today...
The trio (from small to large) was DJ Pauly D, The Game, and The Game v2.1 (who did the 10/21 burrito). The Game v2.1 made my burrito again. He started out with a solid two scoops of rice, but he held back on his big scoop of black beans and returned about a third of them into the pan. There were very few pinto beans left, and he called out for more once he put a few on my burrito. The veggies looked better than they have in a while (still the small diced), but he only gave me a few. There was no lettuce today, and the guacamole didn't look great. The guy did the thing again where he rolled up the burrito not all that well, but then wrapped the foil against the wrap of the burrito, making it just a big old gosh dang mess. I can't figure out why the hell any warm blooded humanoid would do that. Maybe he's some sort of alien or something. I shouldn't say that. That's mean, but like, come on!
