Casual dominance with Jack Abbot, someone sedate me

Hand on your lower back. Gently grabbing your jaw to get you to turn and look at him. Giving you food or drink on shift without a second thought and a look that doesn’t ask, but tells you to eat. Grabbing your arm gently and diverting you towards the break room when he sees exhaustion in your body language. Makes sure you get to your car safely at the end of every shift

so I’m watching a behind the scenes video of The Long Walk, and for some reason I find it so funny that Charlie and multiple others were riding on the side of the tank behind this shot

thinking aboutttttt Jack’s s/o being jealous of how close he is to Samira

she doesn’t work in the hospital (I imagine her as an EMT personally) so she’s not around him 24/7 on their shifts

but like the moment Mohan’s back is turned, she can feel eyes staring her down as soon as another trauma comes through the ambulance bay. She turns around and they’re gone. Like it gets so bad that someone tells Samira about it

because I imagine that his s/o is a bit insecure, alright? Jack’s wife died, he wore the wedding ring for months until he met his s/o, so there’s always that thought in the back of her head that he’ll never fully be hers

then there’s the age difference. he’s well over 10 years her senior, so we know that he likes younger women. So who’s to say that he wouldn’t go for Samira, the one that he mentors and has a connection with???
