A classic espresso shot made with freshly roasted coffee beans. The key to a great espresso is the right grind size, even tamping, and precise extraction time.
Ingredients: 1 shot of espresso. Freshly roasted coffee beans.
Instructions: Grind the coffee beans to a fine consistency, similar to table salt. Fill the portafilter with the ground coffee and tamp it down evenly. Insert the portafilter into the espresso machine and start the extraction process. Allow the espresso to pour into a pre-warmed shot glass or cup. The ideal extraction time is around 25-30 seconds for a perfect shot. Serve immediately and enjoy!
