literally why do people voluntarily have facial hair
outside of religious reasons I honestly do not know... it’s really not attractive imo. especially the recent trend where it’s all scraggly and kind of looks like. well. deadass like their pubes crawled up onto their face tbh. so far in my life I have never seen anyone with a beard who I have found attractive, and I have consistently become unattracted to people I previously found attractive for their duration of the time they had their beard.
(never forget the ben whishaw drought of 2016 where I couldn’t even look at him because of that awful beard.) (my only comfort is the fact that he apparently hated it just as much as I did.)
