While I am dying of a cough that came from nowhere. Please don't tell me I'm getting sick when I'm about to train up as a supervisor at my work.
But I finished the Kayn route in Alaris and oh my. I've never felt such a range of emotions. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out and how Kayn had much more going on than I initially thought.
Our government is stupid and cruel. Wanting to ban homeless people so they don't have to look at them, without looking at the why are they homeless? A lot of people end up homeless due to situations or circumstances beyond their control or mental health issues. They caused this by removing emergency housing. They caused this by making a lot of people redundant and putting rich/wealthy first. AHHHHH
I'm a bit tired/frustrated. This weekend has just been an absolute disaster. My mum's partner apparently lay on his floor unable to get up all night/day so the cops had to come. I felt sick so called in sick on Saturday, only to be texted by the boss to ask where I was. So now I'm worried I won't get paid. We did sort it out but still. I feel really bad because I'd NEVER just not turn up. THEN my friend asks to stop playing 2 games we play every week so I struggle with my abandonment issues (always do) all I hear is the 'I don't want to do the thing with you anymore' AND finally I get a text from my flatmate to say that my other flatmate/her tested positive for COVID and I take the test this morning and I HAVE COVID. Because her brother went out socializing and got COVID and gave it to all of us. I already have health issues. I think I'm gonna make some Cats 1998 gifs now so who are your favourite Cats and why?
Yippy skippy I am getting a pay rise and I'm getting made a supervisor (which should lead to some difficult customers yay not).
I have to wait until I go to work and do 8 hours before I can come home and play Alaris but I am ready to go. Ready to draw more fanart (it's been awhile) and ready to do the routes. Cannot wait to hear the voices again.
I was fully expecting My Time at Portia to be kind of cozy/maybe was bored to start with until I finished the first big commission and suddenly, Ripley's life has been like a soap opera lol. The scammers showed up, then she received a threat to get out of town. Got attacked by bandits. She's like why did I even move here?? However she's developing a really nice relationship with Arlo and Oaks. Maybe Ginger too not sure who to romance yet.
I'm still struggling a bit for what to do in My time at Sandrock but that's okay. Maybe once story gets going I'll enjoy it more?
One of my favourite things in Coral Island (minus diving I'm obsessed with diving and clearing trash) is the ability to have friends. If you're not romancing them, you can still hang out and do different things. I'm getting to know Wakuu and I love him and Noah.
Trying to beat exhaustion (again) because I had to stay late, due to having no customer service girl. I also had to help out in copy centre again (which is fine I know how to do this area). But on top of that, we had total newbies on, so I had to help them out as well. I like my job really. The security guard likes anime, so I talk to him when I get bored and we are going to watch Mugen Train next week with @normaleeinsane for my birthday.
