I am much happier with how this arch is turning out compared to the last "Beast's Rose" I made. I can't seem to figure out why, but no matter. I'm so far very happy with my results! Now that the proper recipient has it, I am now able to share my latest work: "Beast's Rose". This piece I create from scratch, right down to freestyle drawing the pattern, the finished product 16 inches long by 26 inches tall. This particular piece features both cathedral glass in clears, frosted, greens, and reds, as well as opalescent glass in blues, purples, and golds. The majority of this was done in the Tiffany filing style, with a lead came framed. And was finished in black patina. I am planning to make several more of these where each will be finished with different styles of patina: copper, silver, and black.
