Minor correction, Sakura's unused execution isn't "beaten to death by aliens"; it's "crushed by aliens". Specifically, she has to fight waves of enemies, but while she does well at first, more and more aliens just keep on appearing, until finally so many appear that she's buried and crushed beneath their sheer numbers.
