How long have you been RPing? [And how long have you been a Whovian?]
Well. I've been roleplaying since I was around twelve. It started with passing notebooks back and forth between a group of friends in middle school / junior high before I even KNEW there was such a thing as actual groups of people that did this type of thing or that there was a name for it or anything of the sort. It moved on to AIM chat room rps (I failed at one-liners even then tbh) and eventually moved to some mailing lists, and when I went to work, passing notebooks back and forth again. Somewhere along the way I was introduced to tabletop gaming, specifically, White Wolf Vampire: the Masquerade and fell in love. I've done tabletop-ing rp of just about every genre ever -- the plus/down side to having a live-in GM who obsesses over ever gaming system ever made....
I've done some LARP'ing, and some MUSH rps, and all of those types of rp's as well, though for about eight - ten years there I focused primarily in invisionfree, jcink and proboards and other forums. I ran and rp'ed in a bajillion genres and sites. I've run a couple of rp groups on Tumblr but in the last year have fallen out of the desire for the rigidness and just sheer EFFORT that running a group / site takes and I want to just enjoy the fun of it all -- hence me lurking here and trying this independent rp for a while!
As far as for how long I've been a Whovian: I knew of the 'myth' of Doctor Who for... a while? But my focus lied elsewhere. My dad and I were huge sci-fi fans, but it was Star Wars and Star Trek that were my focal points. About.... six years ago? or so my girlfriend mentioned something about Doctor Who and I tried to catch a few episodes but I was so lost (having no point of reference, background, anything of the sort for the show). Finally, having run out of things to watch at some point, I sat down and watched the first two seasons of the New Who about five years ago and that was, as they say, all they wrote. I was obsessed, instantly.
I have only just finally gotten all of the Originals so that I can try and watch through them, but I have watched the New Who over and over a million or two times; varying on what seasons, etc. depending on who I was fangirling over the most -- or who I was writing for. I have written for River Song, Jenny Smith and the most recent, Clara Oswald. I have plans to eventually bring River and Jenny back, as well as throw Amelia into the mix, or I might just say screw it and jump in as one of the Doctors, I haven't entirely decided. But there you have it.
Oh, also; my left arm from wrist to elbow has a tattoo of River Tam, and on the underside a tattoo which says 'No power in the 'verse can stop me.' This will eventually get turned into a full sleeve of Firefly. I mention this because on the other arm, I plan on getting River Song, with the text written on the cliff that said 'Hello, Sweetie', and turning the right arm into a Doctor Who sleeve.

Cold and lonely
The streets were dead, nothing but silence apart from the groups of people passing by, laughing and having a wonderful time. Not even paying attention to the coughing man freezing on the streets. Just like every day, always so ignored.
He snuggled up to the pile of trash in attempt to get comfortable.

Roxxan had just gotten in way over her head. She was in a fight that she couldn;t get out of and now she was laying hurt in an alley. She kept telling herself when the pain subsided she;d walk home but the pain kept going. She closed her eyes and leaned her head up against the alley wall. Her bloodied and bruised body in too much pain.
