so this happened last night... j dilla's younger brother, john aka illa j, performed some of his and his brother's classic joints along with @rhettmatic on the one's and two's, and who also, was very close with dilla. glad that some of my friend's came out, but i couldn't skip out on this possibly once in a lifetime performance, especially in hawaii. been listening to dilla a little over 10 years now and some of his brother's work, but this was worth it. wish dilla were still alive so i could've seen the yancey boy's together. rest in beats dilla. #illaj #jdilla #rhettmatic #yanceyboys #worldfamousbeatjunkies #beatjunkies #beatjunkiesounds #soul #hawaii #hawaiianbrians
