COLUMBIA Pictures “Georgy Girl” had a hugely-successful midnight preview at the Carlton
Theatre, Haymarket, last Wednesday.
It was attended by a host of show business celebrities including the stars of “Georgy Girl”: James Mason, Alan Bates, Lynn Redgrave (who has been receiving rave notices for her performance in the title role) and Charlotte Rampling. Also present were the film’s producers, Otto Plaschkes and Robert A. Goldston, director Silvio Narizzano, and the author of the original novel, Margaret Forster. who co-scripted with Peter Nichols. The picture received an enthusiastic reception from the distinguished audience, culminating in a three-minute ovation as the final credits unrolled.
“Georgy Girl” is an Everglades pro-duction for Columbia release through BLC. The film opened on Thursday (October 13) at the Cariton Theatre.

Squared jacket + wide-winged hat
60s English model Pattie Boyd and Tina had similar clothing tastes in these three photos, as we can see both wearing a similar squared jacket although the pattern is a little bit different, and we can see both of them wearing the same style of wide-winged hat, Pattie's is dark and Tina's was white.
