Miller Secrets: Exposed?
Now, I’m sure by now we’ve all heard the Miller’s fairy tale about the little old lady in the woods with her tea. If you haven’t, let me tell you.
Right before Nimh was founded, the Millers fled to the woods due to having to leave their home on accusations of witchcraft and Devilry. The fog that surrounds the town engulfed them and led them to the witch’s cottage. She gave them some herbal tea and they passed out, only awaking to find the sign of Nimh, as well as quickly figuring out that the town is inescapable.
Now, it’s all just a legend told by the Millers so they seem more important than they really are.
Or is it?
Word on the street is that the “Little Mayor,” Paris Miller, has been seen with the archives manager Beau Lucas in the tavern with some rather interesting-looking homework. Of course, the whole thing could just be speculation, but it seems rather odd, seeing as the two had some sort of tension between them after Paris spilled her alleged “homework” onto the floors of the tavern. Our dear Paris is known to be a little rough around the edges, so the tension could just be what everyone experiences when around her, but I have other ideas.
Perhaps Beau could shed a little light on the situation, since he works in the archives. Was it really homework Paris spilled, or something else? If you decline to comment, though, I’m sure our dear Mayor will have something to say, won’t he?
So, what where those papers, really? Were they truly homework, or were they something more? I’d love to get into the archives and find the secrets that lie within. After all, this town is full of them.
