yeah one of the main characters (kaylee) was supposed to be chinese but they cast her as white ….:/

as much as i adore jewel straite, it would have been a step in the right direction if at least one main character was chinese in this whole snafu

and kaylee cast with a chinese actor would have been amazing considering again how there's next to no asian representation on tv at all
