So I’ve been gone for a while as I let my face relax and heal. So sorry for not posting sooner. Now that I’m back and I’m pretty okay, I am excited to announce that my February Beauteque Beauty Bag has arrived! While I won’t per se be unboxing it - more like unbagging, am I right? I will be testing and showing you guys my favorite products.
Okay, SO. I have so much more product than I would have ever thought I’d have in a million years. Surprisingly, I do the beauty thing. A while back in January, I was given my first Beauteque beauty bag for the month of February. Due to their delay in shipments, they gave us two free gift items. So my gift items actually arrived before the box is even released. Fun, right?
Today I shall be covering Peelosoft XP Cotton Swab Mild Shot by MediHeal. It certainly SOUNDS cool right?! Well...no. The title makes it sound ten times cooler than what it is. The packaging definitely helped. As far as directions go, follow the pictures. All the actual directions are in Korean on the back with tidbits of English on the front. Ingredient wise, they are both in Korean and English on the right side of the box.
Peelosoft XP Cotton Swab Mild Shot is a little blue package of 4 giant, mutant looking cotton swabs and a vial of 7% AHA-BHA liquid. They seem pretty proud of their mutant swabs, saying it is two times bigger than the standard swabs you can find in the grocery store. The vial looks like you could squirt it out due to the long cap but apparently you take off the cap and dip in the cotton swab for 3-5 seconds then swab your face. They have a suggestive pattern of swabbing pictures on the back of the box. The product claims it is a mild peel with no wash, it whites the complexion and clears up acne. I had to google the full process on how to use this and they do recommend you use this after washing your face then proceeding with your skin care routine.
LET ME TELL YOU HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS! Just say no. Pick a god and beg them to have mercy on my skin because no, it saying mild does not mean anything to me. I do not have frequent acne, just occasional skin disorder acne from time to time. I can’t fix it aside from possibly being gross and extracting said stuff. Skin’s weird. I am a patchy, sensitive, desert dry type which I will repeatedly tell you over and over again because this might work for you but it did not for me.
This product made my face feel like leather. End of story. I opened it, the contents were slightly under pressure in the vial so when I cracked it open, it began to foam under the cap. I wiped it off and the vial was STICKY as hell that I had to wash it. There’s not a lot of liquid in the bottle, I assume enough for the 4 cotton swabs. Sadness. I applied according to directions that I understood. It stung a little bit. The liquid feels sticky, then tacky on the face. By the time it has fully dried, I had a weird smooth but leathery texture to my face. Yes, no. Do not want. Eventually, the product made me itch and I had to wipe it off. Surprisingly, my face wasn’t too dried out after I did so. However, it did turn slightly pink in the swabbing and stayed pink throughout the ordeal. At least I’d never need blush.
Mm, would I buy this? Maybe. That is a very slight maybe. Results were bearable but I felt like it served no purpose. Perhaps because I do not have the right environment for it to work. I could not say. I’ll keep the other 3 swabs and either way for my face to be all “BLARGH” or I’ll just use it up and all it a week.
I’m trying to get my mother to let me try it on her.
