I think second theory is more likely since earlier in the episode the boys talked about there being some silver bullets in the truck. :)

I guess so... o.o :) Dean rarely hesitates when Sam is in danger.

Can we just talk about how Sam locked the place down so Dean wouldn't leave the bunker? I mean he knew how out of control Dean was and that he eventually was going to find him and probably try to kill him but he still couldn't let the only chance he had to get his brother back slip away. And that my friend is what makes me wanna cry myself to sleep at nights...

That what makes me actually cry myself to sleep. 

He was amazing. Though he risked his life and that's really scary, but what choice does he have? he won't leave Dean a demon if it's the last thing he'll do. 

I am so glad Cas came to save Sam in the last moment, and that Sam finally got the chance to save Dean. 

Oh boy. 

I want to be his friend and talk with him about GoT (The books!) and just distract his mind from the awful things.

Since i have rewatched all of my favorite Supernatural episodes to get through the last and the most painful part of the hellatus, i wanted to ask you your favorite episodes so i can watch them if i haven't already? :)

Oh wow, that's a really tough question friend. I can't tell. 

are you looking for angst and add to your pain, or are you looking for brotherly fun a little ? 

I really love so many episodes and so many seasons it's hard to choose one. 

I'd re-watch s1 or 2 if I were you, cause they are golden and so nostalgic.

No it hasn't been confirmed but i just assumed that is the case since Dean does come back to human :)

I guess Sam will be the one to cure Dean. Though I expect Cas to play a vital part as well. Though maybe only later on around mid season.

So we know Sam'll cure Dean but we also know MoC is still in the picture and Jeremy said that we'll see whether it's still got the same affect on Dean. Some people were disappointed that they're wasting another great story line for Dean by making him come back to human quickly. But i think demon!dean might not stay longer than first run of the episodes but MoC will remain as a problem and they'll deal with it later in the season. I was wondering what your thoughts were? Love your speculations :)

Did I miss a spoiler? Do we know for sure now that Sam will cure Dean? I mean, we all kind of expected it and I wouln't be surprised, but was it confirmed anywhere particular? :)

Anyway, while I would love to see Demon!Dean as long as possible on my tv screen, judging from the info we got, Dean might be cured sometime around the 6th episode. If it just comes down to my personal wishes, then I'd loved to see it last half a season like Soulless!Sam's arc did.

That being said - and like you say as well - there is still the MoC and I believe it will be permanent. I have said this before, but I think it actually makes sense for them to have Dean back to human relatively early since it's more of a symptom, but not the cause of the problem. Even the MoC really is only an extended symptom of the problem, but in general it serves as the catalyst for Dean's problems.

I don't think - or rather hope - that this won't mean a "wasted storyline", because I think the true and meaty stuff will come for Dean once he gets some sort of grip on what he did and has to work through what he did and that it was all him.

And I am extremely excited to see Jensen act the hell out of this struggle inside of Dean between light and dark.

I am probably a broken record about this already, but I personally would like it most if he cannot get rid off the MoC. but has to find a way to control it, find balance and the more he heels and gets in tune with himself the more it fades away. I guess I like the idea of it serving as a sort of silent reminder, but I know many hate the idea.

And as an ending note - and yes, I probably said this as well already ;) - I expect/hope around mid season to Dean relapse badly on demonhood and be worse than ever before, because whatever Sam does to cure Dean will only be temporary just like the wall Death created for Sam.

But if Sam is that devastated about Dean's disappearance can you imagine how he will feel once he finds out that Dean is a demon now? Oh Sammy... It's gonna hurt like hell to see him like that :(

I’m sure he will be devastated, but I am also sure that when he’ll discover Dean is a demon now, it will only make him more determined to fix this. Sam knows that this is worse than death for Dean, and if he has any doubt, we got Dean telling him ‘it’s better this way, the mark… it’s making me into something I don’t want to be’ 

So all included, this is going to give us a very pissed of, ruthless Sam if you ask me. it's exciting but terrifying as well. Because Sam's moral compass is swirling when it's about saving Dean, we've seen in in 'Faith', and in S3 I don't remember when, where he is willing to take other people orgens to save Dean, and I guess we are going that direction... 

It is going to hurt to see him so lost and so devastated and doing morally questionable things :( 

But he'll grow from it, as he always does. He will learn and grow.
