Si was not accustomed to visitors. Even more so after the loss of his creator. Even more after the revolution. He was always told to hide in his special room whenever anyone did come to visit. When the Mother program alerted him to androids on the property, he checked the feeds. He was certain he had seen these androids before, but he had never met them. He inspected further, looking for clues of the human visitor that normally accompanied them, but he saw no evidence of the man. How strange. Had they deviated? Was this a trick? He could not be sure.

Kamski had tried to lure him out before, but these were different times. They seemed to be... different? He would have to risk it. Since the revolution, he had not left his home, too afraid of what humans might do to him. He had seen enough on the news.

He frowned ever so slightly, tapping into the mansion’s com system, a matter of fact sort of tone, with only the slightest upturn at the question he posed. “Why are you here? Has Kamski sent you?”

Declan sighed when Ofelia had decided enough was enough and sat down on the sidewalk refusing to walk another step.  Spoiled princess but that was Declan’s fault, giving into her demands he kneeled down and picked the black Pekingese dog off the ground and holding her in his arms. When he stood back up he bumped into a lady.

“Oh I’m sorry miss I didn’t see where I was going, this princess distracted me.” Ofelia just let out a little snort.

“I thought this place did not allow synthetics. How did you manage to secure a room?” William titled his head slightly as his brows knit slightly in confusion. He was not used to his emotions just yet, however, he seemed to feel this one the most.

First reason of confusion- as to why he was being replaced when he was not malfunctioning, second- as to where he would go, third- as to how she found him and knew he needed help, and fourth- as to why she was helping him.

Just as he had left the home of his owners, he had found himself in a clashing of humans and androids, which he also did not understand. What had been going on? There was yelling, vandalism, violence- though mostly from the humans side. He had even been shot at, and they would have hit their target were it not for her. It was too dangerous to travel to this... this sanctuary she spoke of. They had been outnumbered. For now it was better to hide until morning.

It wasn’t a question she felt comfortable asking the others because she knew they’d only worry. It seemed like that’s all they ever did, worry and worry over her ever since she’d been introduced to her “sisters”— so instead of going to any of those three, she went to Si. His lack of expressiveness was almost comforting to her, to simply be around another android that didn’t cry or scream at the drop of a hat was a lot less stressful. Loey didn’t understand the others, and honestly a part of her felt like she never would. “I need to ask you something.” The blonde walked right into the room where he was in the mansion without knocking, the thought to do so not even occurring to her, nor the thought to even ask if she could bother him with a question. “The other androids keep telling me I need to have more joy in my life, but that doesn’t make sense to me. What does joy even feel like? Or happiness? Do you know?” (A question for Si from Loey cause she is so very confused rip)

Si had to puzzle on the question, brows knit ever so slightly as he was processing how best to answer the question. His creator even had trouble explaining the nuances to him. It wasn't until he had found a hobby that he enjoyed that his creator found a way to express it to him. "I have felt joy and happiness, yes." He finally looked up from a lego creation he was working on.

"Is there something you do of your own free will that does not feel so much like an ordered task?" He asked, figuring that was the best place to start.

He didn’t know anyone, they asked so many questions. Fellow androids poked and prodded, trying to get a proper screening on his injuries. Some were fresh, some old and weathered. In any case, he did not like it. He flinched, trying to cover his face. “Do not touch Ralph!” He sounded angry, angry and scared. He managed to distance himself from the group of androids who were only trying to help him.

Of course it drew attention, attention he did not like. A few androids had come to try and calm him down and apprehend him, to keep him from hurting someone else or himself. If only they knew it would only make things worse. He just started swinging, at a loss of anything else to do. He had nothing to defend himself but his fists.

Ralph was beginning to think agreeing to come to New Jericho was a mistake. As much as he talked about wanting friends, making them was much more difficult, all this newness and sudden contact was just too much at once.  He should have stayed by himself, he could have found his own place, somewhere where he could be alone.

“Thanks for coming out with me tonight Chloe.” The two of them had a fun time at the little Fourth of July festival in the park. Declan had already spent time with his brothers but they went off to be with significant others leaving Declan the odd one out. He called Chloe and she was happy to accompany him.

Sitting on a blanket as the sky illuminated in bright colors from the fireworks was perfect. A little voice in Declan’s head said this was almost like a date but he shut that out quick. They were just two friends enjoying fireworks…alone…together.

Declan glances over at Chloe and see her smile and face flash with the different colors of the fireworks. Hides his flushed face in his scarf.
