So I decided to do a collection of looks based on natural, architecture, sites, philosophy of beauty, and broaden my horizons on a concept of unique, designer, beauty, trends, and the currently far out there concept of international unity. For my sixth “Around The World” I chose Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷. After looking up various beauty rituals, I chose glass skin, puppy 🐶 eyeliner, a subtle Kpop influence, and a soft ombré glossy red lip. Most people in Korea opt for perfect flawless skin, with a glassy wet look, topped off with soft cream blush. Focus is skin. I love the understated street wear influence in South Korea, so most looks can be worn day and night. Hair is usually somewhat loose, or casual. Seoul has been a site of modern architectural construction, modern landmarks include the North Seoul Tower, the Lotte World Tower, the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and the Trade Tower. So I decided to do a collection of looks based on natural, architecture, sites, philosophy of beauty, and broaden my horizons on a concept of unique, designer, beauty, trends, and the currently far out there concept of international unity. For my fourth “Around The World” I chose Tuscany, Italy. Choosing Italy was easy, choosing a city wasn’t. There were so many beautiful choices, among my choices was Clique Terre. I chose Tuscany because it wasn’t a cruise ship destination, and Tuscany is rich in art. After looking up various beauty styles, I settled on soft matte, and contoured skin. I didn’t want to channel Classic style icons, because I feel that has been done, and not part of this challenge in particular. Tuscany, Italy is home of the Italian artists Botticelli, and Michelangelo. Not only is Tuscany a great place for art, culture, food, and overall beauty, it’s also a relaxing g place. I channeled that, by looking up various bohemian styles Italy is known for. I chose bronze tones for the laid back look, and some pops of color for styling. This look was more about details, and perfect touches. For my fourth “Around The World” I chose Bavaria, Germany. The decision wasn’t an easy one, as there are many beautiful locations in Germany. So I tried to go for a very neutral territory, rich in scenery and castles. After looking up various beauty rituals, I settled on less is more. Make no mistake, that doesn’t mean simple. Germany loves fashion magazines, glitz, and glam. I was inspired by German actresses, models, and Harpers Bazaar for this particular look. Simple skin, glowing skin, flawless skincare, shimmering smokey eyes, and a soft ballet pink lip on a matte cool pink. For my second “Around The World” I chose Crete, 🇬🇷 Greece. While Crete, Greece is not one of the more popular destinations for people to visit, it’s actually considered very historical, and rich in color. After looking up various beaches in Greece, I chose Elafonissi in Crete, as this beach 🏝 in particular is known for its exotic pink sands and crystal aqua water. For the look, I took the beach itself, and turned it into a vibrant eye look. For skin, I opted to work with vitamin C serum, moisturizer, sunscreen, foundation with vitamin C, and bronzer. People in Greece 🇬🇷 like to work with a bounty of skincare products, embrace natural oils, vitamin C, sunscreen of course, and bronzey, glowing skin.
