I was tagged days ago by @writcraft. Thanks for the tag, love! Here are some things I'm proud that I created in 2019. 1. The Luna & Hermione sonnet Tumblr | AO3 For HP Femslash Minifest’s theme of bed sharing. Canonically, Hermione was tortured and then had a chandelier dropped on her. Luna was kept in a windowless cellar for three months. You know that first night sharing a room at Shell Cottage was rough. 2. The Pride flags (I’m counting these together) Transgender Day of Visibility Tumblr | AO3 Bisexual Visibility Day Tumblr | AO3 The response I got for these posts moved me deeply. I’m happy to have created things that made people feel seen and valued. 3. The ‘Odd But Honest Comments’ post In June, AO3 Comment of the Day picked up a post I’d written about things I wish I could say to fic writers but seldom do. It became my most popular post. Notes cascaded in for a week. It was fun and scary! 4. ‘Walking In Your Footsteps’ Tumblr | AO3 For HP Next Gen Fest. I did paper art for three fests in 2019. Each was challenging in its own way, but this one was bonkers. My original plan was for one dinosaur and I wound up making three. (Four if you count the stuffed one!) My hands are a bit numb and shaky, and cutting and placing all these bones was nervewracking. I’m very proud of how it all came out. 5. ‘A Brekfust Must Be Foodful’ stitchery During the summer, @m4g0rtz showed me this cross-stitch design and said, “I want to make this!” “Pfft,” I snorted, “I have all the supplies here already, I can slap it together for you, easy.” Yeah, no. 😂 Nothing cross-stitched is ever “slapped together.” It took a few months but man, it came out gorgeous. Here’s everything else I made this year. I’m super late to this tag party. Who hasn’t gone yet but wants to play? This is my magical tagging pencil: ✏️ TAG. You’re tagged! I have tagged you. Tell us about five 2019 works you’re proud of, and tag me back so I can see!
You are a wonderful human and I'm lucky to know you so you get some crabs! 😁🦀🐄🦖
MAGS. 🥺🦀🥰 My art teacher, my partner in paper, and one of the VERY few people I always answer the phone for! I adore you and I'm so very thankful we happened to find each other here. You make my life colorful and I love you! Because dinosaur. 🌹🦖🐄😁
I did not need another plushie. Not at all.
Meet Pierre, the tiny terror. He has a dinosaur hoodie. Rarw.
It's clearly been established that I have no self control. Or shame. Welcome to the family Pierre!
