There was someone near by... she could sense them. The Slender female turned around, her claws glinted slightly in the dim light that filtered down through the thick canopy and mist above. Her empty face was tense with suspicion as she studied the forest. Once again, this being was not human, it lacked the dull feeling that they always gave off. 

Instead of calling out she remained still and waited, poised within the trees, ready to greet this stranger.
