B E C C A S U N L I T B R O N Z E R C O L L E C T I O N This week I received the brand new BECCA Sunlit Bronzer Collection which was kindly gifted to me by the goddesses of BECCA themselves. As we know BECCA do highlighters really well, I’m also a huge fan of their Multi-tasking Perfecting Powders. So my enthusiasm for this new Bronzer collection will come as no surprise. On opening the box I was greeted by the unusual Bronzed version of the distinctive BECCA compact. The reflective antique Gold feels super luxe and pairs perfectly with the glossy Brown housing of the bronzers. Inside each attractive compact resembles the silky sand dunes of the Sahara Desert! And much like the hot sand glistening under the beaming rays of the Sun, this creamy powder is laced with light reflecting particles that shine through.
There are 5 shades available all of which are a neutral coloured bronze which makes them suitable for every skin-tone. The formula is a creamy powder which sweeps over the skin beautifully; used lightly they will give you a softly sun-kissed appearance, but layer the bronzer and you can achieved ‘just-stepped-off-the-beach’ skin!
Here are swatches of all the shades - the top set were taken outside in direct daylight, the bottom set were inside by the window - subtle differences but I think it’s good to see how a product looks both indoors and outside. With flash photography the product pretty much looked identical to the bottom image - a subtle glow. From left to right: BALI SANDS - Soft Golden Beige, fair to medium skin tones. CAPRI COAST - Warm Golden Bronze, light to medium skin tones. BRONZED BONDI - Medium Amber, medium skin tones. IPANEMA SUN - Medium Auburn Brown, medium to dark skin tones. MAUI NIGHTS - Sienna-Kissed Bronze, deep skin tones.
Tips for applying the bronzer; Sweep in a C-shape motion starting at the apples of the cheeks and gliding upwards towards the temples.
Each bronzer retail at $38 each and are available at Ulta and BECCA cosmetics. They will also be available for purchase from Sephora on 25th April!
