There was no going back. Not that she wanted to turn back. No, she was definitely doing this. The gap between them closed and Rebecca softly pressed her lips against his. She hoped he wouldn't freak out too much. To be safe, she only held the kiss for a second or two before pulling back, a grin plastered to her face. "Well~?"
Still processing what she had said, trying to gauge what was going on, it took a few minutes before it fully registered what was happening. The world stopped. The sensation of her lips against his was enough to stop all conscious thought. Eyes flew open and his face burned. She was.. kissing him. Tech manuals, military training, nothing had a formula for this kind of situation.
He stared, blinking owlishly as she drew back, an almost impish grin plastered over her face. "..." When he opened his mouth, no words came. The look on her face, however, awakened a boldness that he didn't know he had. A moments hesitation, and since no words were forthcoming, he did the next best thing. Without giving her, or himself a chance to think, he leaned forward, closing the short space between then, had pressed his lips against hers before pulling back.
Smirking, in spite of his embarrassment. "Well~?"
