Bus ships were meant to fly
One of my favourite Bechloe moments is during PP1, when the Bellas are on the bus singing Party in the USA. I feel like it gets very little attention so I wanted to bring it up. Firstly, I love that Beca only looks at Chloe the whole time once she realises everyone else is singing at her.
The moment is interspersed with shots of Stacie, but in a way that only highlights the connection, because it’s so obviously not Stacie that Beca is looking at.
Then of course, we have that little smirk and nod of encouragement from Chloe which finally pushes Beca into joining in.
To the casual observer, it’s a scene where Beca begins to let her guard down. To the secret fans, it’s yet another example of Beca not being able to say no to Chloe.
And not for nothing, but my sexuality teeters on the edge of that fucking smirk.
