There are only two extremes for Day when it comes to new things: 1. She point blank refuses to acknowledge their existence. 2. She becomes THE NOSIEST PERSON ALIVE and must know everything.
The shared dorm room fell into number one a lot. Simply because if Day kept track of it all she’d look like a creep and it’d become far too stressful. There’s a point where her nosieness turned into plain old hyper-vigilance and the fear would creep it’s way in. But. Sand. Magic. How the FUDGE could Day have not noticed something like GALLONS of Magic Sand?
Preferring to study in the library partly because of the fact it’s almost a gag reflex to watch and talk to anyone she knows, Day knew the moment she leaves for the dorm to play with sand she could say good-bye to anymore work getting done today.
“Hey-o!” Day grins in a sing song as she knocks open hers and Beck’s dorm door with her hip. Obviously, she’s very happy to say good-bye to work. She is more than happy to call it a day on studying to play with SAND. Maybe even more exciting than said sand, to spend a little time with Beck.
“Where’s this magic at, Becks?”
