Hey, saw you reblogged that post from miz-andry about aro/aces in pride month. Do you not think that other LGBTQ folk should be supporting aro/ace folk during pride month?

i mean, short answer: no, aces aren’t inherently LGBT so i don’t think they should be the focus of Pride

slightly longer answer: i’ve felt extremely strongly about this in the past (on both sides of it btw) but at this point it’s like…not that deep ? my main issues with that post are the suggestion that het aces should be prioritized over LGBT aces during Pride and also referring to the LGBT community as “q*eer allos” which like…..really?

anyway our community is built on like shared history and intersecting oppression which don’t really apply to aces (which also goes for a lot of other groups) like disabled ppl are not inherently LGBT even tho some disabled ppl are and they have their own community bc they have a shared history and shared issues

Is this still happening? Nothing's been posted here on on AO3 for nearly a week? If we are meant to be posting should we stick to order or date, I'm very confused.

Hi there! There have sadly been multiple cases where authors had to postphone their dates in the very last minute…

As much as we hoped this wouldn’t happen, of course nobody can influence the things that happen in the authors personal life. In all cases though, the fic’s of the those authors are simply postphoned and will be posted.

We will of course post posts on here as soon as they’re posted.

In the meanwhile, please stick to the posting dates we told you, and if that is not possible, please contact us as soon as possible! :)
