aa thank you!! i’m gonna talk about billie cause i never talk about them and i love them a lot so!!

3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory?

yeah!! i mean they’re an orphan but they had a decent childhood. they were all but adopted by a lovely lesbian couple who had. wildly differing opinions on how to raise a kid like billie. gwen was very proper and tried to give them all the classical education stuff?? how to read and write and get on in polite society and stuff. caroline was the Fun Mum™ and also taught billie the basics of sailing?? and also how to climb like. buildings and junk

some of their fond memories are of time w caroline cause her lessons were v fun. gwen always used to slip them really expensive sweets too, especially when they behaved in lessons and things

pre much all their bad childhood memories are from before gwen & caroline. they’ve been an orphan for as long as they can remember & before they were adopted they?? had kind of an oliver twist deal going on. a woman they only remember being called auntie looked after them & a bunch of other kids in exchange for the kids robbing the everloving shit out of every ship that came into port. they were really good at it but. not the best upbringing??

5. Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?

a few!! not blood siblings but they weren’t the only kid gwen & caroline adopted. they’d have run an orphanage if they could lmao. i… don’t remember all of their names.. there was definitely daisy and shauna?? there were like two other kids uh.

billie was always like. the Big Sibling y'know?? shauna and one of the boys are older than billie but still :’) they’re v protective and always looked out for the others

they’ve kind of lost touch w everyone cause they travel a fuck lot and everyone’s kind of. drifted since gwen died. daisy still lives in the old house and turned it into an actual orphanage!! she was another kid who worked for auntie and she wants to make sure nothing like that happens again. the only sibling billie’s relationship really soured with is one of the boys, who joined up w the military who’s uh. less than upright??

37. Do they like to read? Are they a fast or slow reader? Do they like poetry?

nah they?? never really got the hang of it. they’re okay w numbers but they didn’t learn to read till late childhood/early teens and they’re not like. supremely comfortable with it. they’re a very slow reader. they do like poetry tho!! it’s like songs without tunes. their fave kind of poetry is the dirty kind, ofc

43. Are they religious? What do they think of religion? What do they think of religious people? What do they think of non religious people?

mm sort of?? mostly superstitious. it uh. depends on the setting which i still haven’t decided on sorry :’)

they’re always superstitious tho. either it’s doing things to appease the sea god & all the things to go with it (like. they have a tattoo that in this setting is supposed to be an aspect of the sea god, except the artist wasn’t great, and billie is 100% certain the sea god took it as a personal slight which is why three ships they served on sank in various circumstances) OR its. spacer things. little superstitions you know?? don’t ever joke about the airlock, that sort of thing

they don’t really care either way?? like. unless it fucks w other people they don’t mind y'know?? they’re not fond of over zealous priests or over zealous atheists

high priestess: do you pay more attention to your heart or your mind?i think my behaviours are a decent mix of being emotion-based and logic-based despite how much i wish i was a solely logical being, but i wouldn’t really say they’re following my Heart so much as avoiding my fears, which doesnt really seem like the same thing. i don’t tend to pursue things i want based on my feelings but i tend to avoid things based on my feelings is what i’m getting atmoon: do you have any recurrent dreams?when i was a kid i had frequent nightmares about giants (it was either the iron giant or the giant from the mickey mouse version of jack and the beanstalk most of the time). nowadays my most recurring dream is just the running trend of suddenly being in realistic-feeling romantic relationships w my friends that sort of mess me up once i wake up from emtemperance: do you tend to focus on the past, present, or future?bc i’m the least mindful person on the planet i am pretty much split between getting stressed out about past events and worrying about future ones

So after a discussion about Mass Effect, and why I’m still mad about fucking up my game, I decided to replay the series... I immediately regret that decision as Mass Effect fails to start, nor can I access the DLC... So move on to ME2 which starts but again accessing the DLC i bought is a jump through 90 hoops process, not to mention the prospect of trying to get Origins to run for ME3 when I get there... In short, dear EA go fuck yourself with a sharp rusty dildo!
