With each passing year, I identify more and more with Tom Paris on Star Trek Voyager. When he built the Delta Flyer shuttle, he included a control panel with actual knobs and buttons (modeled after his Captain Proton holo-novel) because was "tired of tapping panels" and wanted to be able to FEEL the ship.
