T's family is all out-of-town, as are a few on my side and almost all the wedding party, so we're doing a "bye bye brunch" the day after. Our weekend schedule is Thursday: bachelorette/bachelor; Friday: rehearsal dinner; Saturday: morning - rehearsal, afternoon - wedding; Sunday: brunch; Monday: leave for honeymoon

Sounds like a good schedule! We are still trying to work on ours. Aaron’s mom has an event the night before our wedding so we’re trying to figure out rehearsal times (or if she’ll just skip her event). I like your morning rehearsal--is a rehearsal brunch a thing, I wonder? 

No schedule for a bachelor/bachelorette party yet, but that’s something we need to calendar soon. I’m hoping to have all my wedding party confirmed by next week. I’m happy we got a date so soon, but we’re gonna have to hustle to turn this around in time. :)

GISHWHES stands for the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen! It is an awesome online scavenger hunt run by Misha Collins who plays Castiel in Supernatural. I have never watched an episode of Supernatural and don't really know who Misha Collins is outside of those youtube videos where he cooks with his son, so being a Misha/SPN fan is NOT a prerequisite.  At the beginning of the week, you get a list of scavenger hunt items, and you have a week to complete as many as you can! Most of the items are completely ridiculous and it's a blast.

Last year was the first year I played.  You play in teams of 15 people, either in a team you create or you sign up and are placed on a team.  I joined a team last year with some of my Harry Potter Alliance/nerdfighter internet friends. This year about half of us are still playing and we've invited some of our other friends to fill out the remaining spots! 

It is SO FUN and I seriously want to play GISHWHES for the rest of my life. Not joking. While winning would be nice, I honestly just enjoy the experience of trying to complete all the ridiculous challenges, being creative, making silly stuff.   The two spots on our team might be filled already--we're waiting for confirmation. But if not I will let you know if you're interested! Or you could sign up on your own or make your own team if you want to try it out.

oh man! are these bearded dragons??? i love those! they're super docile and awesome! when i worked at the h'burg zoo, they had two who would just hand onto your shirt and you could just walk around with them on you!

yeah! they are!  I worked at the Jackson Zoo in high school and we had one there as well that was so sweet. Aaron has had one before for a few years but it died awhile back (on the day of our second date, actually :x).  These are tiny little ones right now. The picture doesn't show it so well but they're the size that they just sit in the palm of your hand!

can't say I do this for EVERY show I watch, ha, but my HBO fix is entirely legit. My parents are subscribers and I hook their account up to my Xbox and use the HBO Go app.
