karma is always real and always wins if it seems like it didnt catch someone just think about them secretly dealing with a catastrophic bloody nose in the middle of the day for no reason
spoopyleonhart:
His head is killing him. That’s his first though and he reaches up to rest the palm of his hand there to alleviate the pressure. It’s then that he notices something slightly sticky on his hand. Disgusted he jerks his hand away to look at it, certain that must be something he’d touched before unknowingly falling asleep. What he finds is something red, something that he knows is what he wishes it wasn’t; Blood.
{What in the hell?}
He glares at his surroundings, brows furrowed and lips pressed thin before he finally sees her. Only a few steps away(He hadn’t even realized he was on his feet) and laying unmoving. He takes a step toward her before the pieces of this puzzle began to click into place and he notices the blood on her as well. He stops. Taking another look at his gloved fingers he lets out a curse and partially stumbles over to her to check her pulse. He has no idea what happened but from what he’s seen he’s holding himself responsible. Finding her pulse, even though it’s weak, fills him with relief. He is quickly casting a cure spell, glad to be junctioned in this instance, in the hope to heal her. “Demi…. Wake up, damnit. Come on!” What had he done?
The first thing that she noticed when she returned to consciousness, was that everything was too loud. Things that might have been as quiet as a mouse squeaking sounded like a freight train rolling right next to her head. But despite the volume, she couldn't make anything out. A muffled voice stood out among everything else. No matter how familiar it sounded, she couldn't place it, and even in her addled state, it was frustrating her. More so than how weak she felt.
Next on her mental checklist was something that she had already passed over, but now that she had come back to it, it was brought to her attention that this was something that was rapidly changing. Her nerves remained on fire, despite the coolness that was washing over her. What in hell was it though? It wasn't like water, or anything, because it didn't hold the weight that it would. So what...?

She groaned, the introduction of her guests was not what she wanted at the moment, especially now that her mind was clearing, the fog finally giving up. And the first thing she heard was the frantic voice of the SeeD commander, practically ordering her to wake up. But Hyne, she did not want to, instead attempting to roll over away from him, stopping when pain lanced through her arm.
"Wh-at happened...?"
