Bed Buds || Nathan + Valerie

Valerie had suggested her and Nathan share a bed, as if she was asking for milk in her coffee. Like it was no big deal. But the concept of sleeping next to her in the same cabin, let alone the same bed, made his heart beat dangerously fast. As Nathan enters their cabin for the first time, he drops his backpack in the far corner of the room, out of eye sight. Not that he had anything to lose anymore. Well, he had one thing. But he didn't carry her in his backpack, and he didn't actually have her. In his mind he liked to pretend he had a chance with her. Feeling a little odd staying in a room with other people, and trying to forget about the fact that Valerie - after seeing him in the act of his insanity - has finally seen a bit of his bad side. She was scared of him now, he'd seen it in her eyes. Things would never be the same. She'd never let him touch her or kiss her again. Sighing as he feels a headache coming on, Nathan sits down on the closest bed and kicks off his shoes before letting himself recline into the pillows. He places one over his face, blocking out the light and letting the darkness consume him.
