So Arch Linux ( @arch-official ) won the poll (what distro I should run). It won by a significant margin, so I guess I'm running Arch.
but....... Ha-ha! I had a trick up my sleeve. You see, I am going to run whatever I want AND Arch, using my secret* weapon:

I didn't want to run multiple VMs under a type1 hypervisor, nor multi-boot. I looked into another meta-distro called Qubes too, but it's fundamentally not designed for gaming, though it's pretty cool.
Bedrock is built different. I think it will be perfect. I would like:
a stable/reliable base system that plays nice with nvidia proprietary drivers¹
an extensive repository of stable, trusted software²
a smaller but newer trusted repository³
newer kernel/hardware support³
arch's malware delivery system (AUR, kek)³
the runit init system⁴
and some cool system utilities you can't get anywhere else⁴

that'd be four strata. probably less than 80gb for all four fully installed, configured and hijacked.
You could use busybox instead of coreutils. or whatever you want.
It's not simply adding random repos from different distros and creating dependency and conflict resolution hell; it keeps everything nice and compartmentalized, each in their own stratum. But also working together seamlessly. It's so cool
